Almost Ready

Hello Everyone,

Whew! I was getting worried. My human parents have been furiously packing for our trip and I didn't see my travel bag among the many packages. But finally, my Mom packed my bag so now I can relax. I'm going too!

I had a whole bunch of new people come to visit me in the last two weeks, because my parents had a "yard sale" to get rid of many things we didn't need and to cut down on the amount of furniture and boxes we are putting in storage while we are off on our "Great Adventure.  I am so glad all those people came by to meet me, It was great fun, but also tiring to meet and greet all of the people who stopped by to browse and pet me.

Only a few more days, then we are heading out to see all of the National Parks, many State parks, and all points of interest in between Honeoye Falls and Glacier National Park in Montana, which is our first destination, before going up into Canada for a short stay to see some of the great park's our neighbor's to the North have to offer.  Next time I will write from the road. 😊

Getting Ready

Hi everyone,
I have a new bed with sides on it and a zippered door in front and on top. I like it very much, and it is collapsible so we can fold it up and take it with us wherever we go. I crawl into it, lay down and take a nap when my parents go someplace that I can't go. I'm so happy that I have this new bed because I can sleep in my own bed no matter where we go on our "Great Adventure". I'm not sure why my parents call it a "Crate" but I readily jump into it whenever they ask me to, and puppy treats magically fall right through the roof. It's Great!

Today I went to see "my kids" in the 4th-grade class at the Manor Elementary School in Honeoye Falls. My Mom explained that our family is going on a year-long trip to visit the National Parks and other interesting sites. We are going to give them this Blog address so they can follow our travels around this big beautiful country of ours.

I have been very excited recently because my Mom and Dad put up a big sign at the end of our driveway that says "For Sale" and many people have come to look at our house. A very nice man they call "Steve" has been helping them to sell our house and a short while ago he was successful. So now my human parents are cleaning out all of the closets and storage areas around our house, packing and labeling many many boxes for storage while we are away. So I think it will be soon that we head out on our "Big Adventure" where I can meet new and interesting people.😉
